Optics & Light
Camera systems, lens choice, exposure, and lighting fundamentals — the language every shoot speaks.
Education
Our curriculum is built on hands-on instruction in digital storytelling, live production, and creative technology. Students learn by doing — every track ends with real work that ships, building portfolios and opening career pathways for underserved youth.
Four modules
Camera systems, lens choice, exposure, and lighting fundamentals — the language every shoot speaks.
Multi-camera switching, audio routing, and running a live event from intake to wrap.
Editing workflow, color grading, and finishing — turning footage into a finished piece of work.
Field recording, dialogue, music, and the craft of building a soundscape that holds an audience.

Young people roughly 14–24 years old who want a real start in photography, video, live production, or creative direction. No prior experience required.
MagRose is a youth empowerment program. We work to remove cost as a barrier through sponsorship, partnerships, and scholarships.
Professional cameras, lighting, and audio equipment provided by MagRose and our partners. Students learn on the tools they will actually use in the field.
Cohorts run as multi-week intensives plus ongoing field production hours. We'll share exact dates with accepted applicants.
